Texas Collegiate Soccer Clinic

The Texas Collegiate Soccer Clinic is pleased to invite you to participate in an opportunity to further your development to play collegiate soccer and gain coaching exposure from top collegiate coaches. In the past, coaches from St. Edward’s University, Southwestern University, West Texas A&M University, Austin College, Texas A&M International, Hardin-Simmons University, St. Mary's University, LeTourneau University, University of New Mexico, Bryant University (RI), Huston-Tillotson University, Lonn Morris College, Concordia University, and University of Mary Hardin-Baylor were present and coached at the Texas Collegiate Soccer Clinic. The clinic returns again this year onDecember 17th  & 18th , 2011 at the two soccer fields at St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. Last year’s combine sold out early so please make sure you get your registration and hotel reservation in early.

The camp is designed to offer instruction and exposure to soccer players approaching entrance to a four year university soccer program. Campers will be divided into teams and assigned a coach from a collegiate soccer program. These teams will spend time with their coach learning what he and other college coaches will be looking for during the weekend and in the future. The teams will then compete in small sided and full sided games while being coached by the attending college coaches. Due to the overwhelming demand of placing players on the same teams, we will no longer be able to accommodate this request.

The clinic is open to male soccer players, 14 years of age or older, but is intended primarily for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors or current junior college players. Campers will provide contact information as well as academic information that will be distributed to the college coaches. The camp will be held at the soccer fields on St. Edward’s University campus in Austin, Texas.

Hotel Information: Clarion Inn& Suites
If you desire to stay at our host hotel, please call the Clarion Inn & Suites (512-444-0561) and mention that you will be attending the” Texas Collegiate Soccer Clinic” Group. The Clarion Inn & Suites will be providing rooms at $85 per night plus tax this includes complimentary continental breakfast. Please book your hotel room(s) as soon as possible to receive the special negotiated rate. The cut off date for the $85 rate is TBA. If the Clarion Inn & Suites is sold-out or you choose to stay at another property we will have additional SEU corporate partner hotels listed on our website. Parents should be aware that the Texas Collegiate Soccer Clinic will not provide housing, food, or supervision of campers other than during on field times at the camp.

Registration Information: Last Year's Camp Sold-Out - Sign Up Early!
To register for the camp simply fill out the registration form and return it to the address indicated along with a check for $135 made out to St. Edward’s University Men's Soccer. Feel free to make copies of the registration form. Players will be assigned to their groups randomly. Players will be required to check in for the camp the evening of Friday, April 20th from 7:00 to 9:00pm at the hotel or the morning of the camp, before 9:00am at the soccer fields. Late registration at check in will only be available if space allows, please call the office to confirm the camp is not sold-out.
